Idea for challenge:
THE ALZHEIMER’S CHALLENGE

Memory app: ’You can’t have all in your head’

This is an app that supports you with keeping track of things. Anyone can benefit from it and you might use it even before the symptoms of Alzheimer arise.

1. Remember things and how they are connected:
Do you Google the same things very often? The app will keep track of it and gather the information you often search for in different cathegories. It helps you organizing your world.

2. It would also remember names of friends and family members based on e.g pictures in social media of the family member or friend and when they are around you will get a popup who it is and how you are connected when you dont know.

3. If you Google the same things very often or check names of your friends/family very often the app will begin informant you about it- givning statistics. It might be that you are stressad during a short time but if it goes on for a longer time it will encourage you to seek early medical support.

Interesting collaboration that could come out of working together with a search engine like Google (also as approx. 5% of all searches are health-related!). What could that collaboration look like...?! Like your idea Anna, spotting early behavior but imagine also what happens next... finding all you need to find in the very first search and guidance throughout the whole journey as more questions and worries unfold on the way....! Heads up for taking privacy and security into account...!

Interesting idea to have reminders of who the people are that you meet. I personally would be afraid to use this and get a "false" or even correct notice that I am getting more forgetful. Even now I worry every time I notice how forgetful I am already now. Is there a way of making it more my choice? Another question is, what are the early signs of alzheimers? This should be taken into account too. Is it always being forgetful about names?
